This book was started in 2011 and I hope to finish it some time this year. The delay has been due to a problem faced by some authors and many film directors: when you have a long, detailed story to tell, how do you cut it down to a length that maintains an engaging momentum and yet still makes sense? Finally, a strategy has been formulated and a solution has been found. The response so far has been good, so I have decided to post the first eight chapters online.
